KATSUCON!!!

EDIT<b/>: Still posting photos, bear with me...

So I just returned from Katsucon 14, 2008, and DAMMIT, I wanna go back so badly!!! My friend cosplayed as Gaara and has become my official cosplay buddy, and I hers, and we did some makeshift yaoiing for a few cfans. ^__^ Itachi/Gaara is one of those...newer couples.

Now we were originally supposed to have an entire group coming with us: Orochimaru, Sasuke, and our cameragirl-who-was-going-to-be-Tsunade-but- chnaged-her-mind-at-the-last-second-and-cosplayed- as-a-Chinese-girl-instead. Sadly they each had some reason NOT to go, and it ended up as being just Gaara and I.

That turned out to be a good thing, though, since our odd pairing was accepted by a surprising number of fans and there wouldn't be enough chairs at the McDonald's to fit all of us and our new friends.

Speaking of new friends! Gaara and I made friends with Konan and Kyle, two Naruto and Bleach cosplayers that were one of the first few to talk, and stay, with us throughout the convention. We also met a melee of Deidaras and one blonde Itachi, who turned out to be my stalkers the rest of the convention. They were so cute though! ^^

There were also a lot of pictures taken, a lot of people met and befriended, and many yaoi moments (thank you, Naruto and Sasuke!) I'll write more later; this is just a short summary before I post my pictures taken at the Con.

  • Favourite style or digital art: Cell-shading has recently appealed the most to me. It provides so much detail and depth!
  • Operating System: Dell, I guess...?
  • MP3 player of choice: iPod Nano, of course!
  • Shell of choice: Er...no idea what this means? o_O
  • Wallpaper of choice: Yaoi-flavored and blown up to full size, baby!
  • Skin of choice: Cinnamon-flavoured, s'il vous plait. X3
  • Favourite game: Any one of the Kingdom Hearts or Harvest Moon series; smexy characters! >3>
  • Favourite gaming platform: My PS2 has never failed me yet.
  • Favourite cartoon character: I AIN'T PICKIN'.
  • Personal Quote: "Holy shitness!"
  • Tools of the Trade: 0.7 pencils, Uniball pens ((praying for Copics very soon)), and anything that colors/is hand-held.
